All aspects of the hotel stay were great value for money further enhancedby good service
We stayed at the hotel for 1 night on the 6th of June. We found the hotel with great ease. We were welcomed by reception and checked in and told everything we needed to know. We made our way upto our room, on which entering was clean and a fair size. Looking out the window we saw offices but that wasnt a problem as we werent there to sit and look out of it. We had a lovely nights sleep and enjoyed breakfast which was included. I thought the price was fairly expensive as we only used it to sleep in, but then it is London and compared to other hotels it is very much so value for money!! No complaints. 5 mins walk to London Dungeons and Tower Bridge and Tower of London. 2 min walk for Southwark Tube station.
Great Lounge in the 6th floor!
Internet was not working and is not free in your room (only 1mb data volume free...)
This is the third time we have stayed at the hotel and find it very clean and staff are very helpfull and polite. Well situated for walking into covent garden and theatre land.Borough market just round the corner always worth a visit. There is a little traffic noise, but only to be expected due to location.
We arrived back late from theatre and no snacks were available. Very kind barman managed to raid the kitchen for cheese and bicsuits.
we used this hotel as a sleep over for new year eve, and to celebrate me turning 40 on new years day!. the staff were good, and they kept themselves to themselves, reception staff were very polite (we didnt notice the staff, it was running like clockwork) well done
we had difficulty finding it.. your www. page does not list a nearby tube staion to head for, being in a wheel chair we walked (rolled) from southwark underground! luckily there are signposts with maps on and we managed to find you via them. it would be better to list a station that gets you much closer!
The staff was really kind and willing to help. They spontaneously offered to keep our luggage after we checked out, until our departure. The location was perfect, nearby the Thames, Borough market, and the Tate Modern museum. We did not know this area before and really enjoyed discovering it. The room was clean and nicely furbished, the breakfast buffet was really complete and the hotel in general was nicely decorated.
location and parking very good for the globe and tate modern plus fairly near the eye and various theatres and resturants and more. the south bank is great. also easy access to the city and west end.
communication with Novotel as regarding numbers for new years eve dining menue.
It was nice and quite and the breakfast was ample
The room was spacious, clean, comfortable. The bathroom and shower was really good too. The breakfast which was included was enjoyable and the hotel had a nice atmosphere to it.
The room was very clean, confortable and quiet. The breakfast was delicious. The location fantastic and I'll return next time I'm in London.
Its proximity to the Tate Modern and the National Theatre, which were our main reason for visiting London on this occasion.
Room clean and tidy. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good. Complementary drinks in reception a nice touch. On site car parking useful and reasonable.
Friendly staff, very clean, good breakfast, close to bus and subway stations. Not so cheap, but worthy. I will surely recomend to everyone traveling on vacation (as well as business).
The convenience of the location
The fact that the room smelt of smoke and we were told it must have been recent paint! The chaos of the Sunday morning breakfast, understaffed and lack of plates, food seats
There was easy access by bus. Not so far to London city centre.
Overcharged during breakfast, people queuing, food missing. Warm food not included in free breakfast. 5 sterling extra. No fridge in the room. Room with two extra fold out beds but still not allowed to stay 3 persons.
